How Things Work

Temperature can be tricky in the summer, especially in the primary bedroom and the sunrooms. A few tips that help:

• Keep the floor vents clear and uncovered.
• At night, set the oscillating fan by the vent in the primary bedroom to move air around.
• The downstairs sits below ground level, so it stays naturally cooler.
• Ceiling fans help circulate air. The living room and upstairs sunroom fans run on remotes.

Want to snuggle in under more blankets, or a different pillow? Extra comforters and pillows are in the downstairs bedroom closet.

Using the Keurig

1. Plug in the Keurig brewer.
2. Lift out the reservoir and fill it to the max line with water.
3. Reattach the reservoir and turn it on. It heats in about a minute.
4. Place a coffee cup beneath the outlet.
5. Lift the handle on top, insert a K-Cup, and close the compartment. It will read Ready to Brew.
6. Select the brew size for your cup.
7. Wait for your fresh coffee to pour. Enjoy.

Press the power button first to light up the buttons, then choose your cycle. Close the door firmly, no need to slam it.

There is a hairdryer in each bathroom. An iron and ironing board are in the downstairs laundry room.

The TVs run on Roku. Use the Roku remote and press Home to reach the apps. Sign in to your own streaming accounts if you like, and please sign out before you check out.
